The Shaktishaali Mahila Sangathan Samiti (SMSS) has been playing a continuous and effective role in reducing malnutrition in our district. In coordination with the Women and Child Development Department, the organization has been successfully implementing programs related to the nutrition, health, and awareness of children aged 0–5 years, adolescent girls, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
The ground-level work of SMSS, its connection with the community, and its support in implementing government schemes are highly commendable, which has led to a positive improvement in maternal and child nutrition in the district.
toilets have been constructed, incinerators and vending machines installed, RO drinking water systems provided, badminton courts developed, and eco-friendly sanitary pads distributed to ensure a healthy school environment.
Nutrition gardens are being established and regular anemia awareness programs are conducted.
We sincerely appreciate SMSS for working in strong coordination with the government to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.
SMSS’s work is deeply rooted in improving the nutrition of women and children while linking them with sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Our collaboration with SMSS to train women in nutrition gardens and organic farming is significantly contributing to women’s empowerment and long-term community development.
The fine arts training I received from SMSS NGO changed my life.
It helped me connect with livelihood opportunities, earn additional income, and become self-reliant.
SMSS did not just teach me a skill—it gave me confidence and hope to pursue my dreams.
