Shaktishali Mahila Sangthan Samiti

Formed in 1996, Shaktishali Mahila Sangthan Samiti (SMSS) is a voluntary organization registered under the Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act, 1973. Started by a group of like-minded and self-motivated social workers, the organization strives to improve the quality of life of various disadvantaged groups living in the hilly tribal district of Shivpuri. Empowering women, and transforming communities – this is the driving force behind Shaktishali Mahila Sangthan Samiti (SMSS) to improve the lives of women and children in rural areas. Since its incorporation, SMSS has been tirelessly working towards various initiatives such as promoting health and nutrition, building sanitation facilities, and providing skill development programs for women. With a team of dedicated members, volunteers, and Suposhon Sakhis, SMSS has made significant strides in reducing malnutrition, improving access to clean water, and empowering women through education and training. We aim to build self-sustaining communities where women can lead independent and dignified lives. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those who need it the most.

Our mission is to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life for women and children in rural areas through education, health awareness, and skill-building programs. 

Our vision is to build up a society where every individual has equal opportunities and can lead a dignified life with respect and pride.

Our objectives are to encourage health, education, and sustainable livelihoods and skill development, create awareness about hygiene and sanitation, and work towards building a healthier and prosperous community.
